Some of the most popular card board games were introduced in the previous article, and today we continue to bring a second installment.
1.Monopoly Deal – Managing the Discard Pile
Monopoly Deal takes the concept of a long-standing classic board game. It smashes the familiar stock and property game into a condensed, fast-paced popular card game. It is highly recommended by many families and friend groups as an alternative for game night. The recommended game time for 2 players is usually 5 to 15 minutes, and the maximum game time for players is 45 minutes.
How to Play
During Monopoly Deal, the goal of the players is to complete three sets of property. While avoiding debt collectors, forced transactions, and deal breakers – all of which are just part of the game. Every card counts. Just like every card draw, your luck may change. The fate of the game may completely flip. Don’t get complacent! Action cards can initiate specific actions. Property cards represent various properties in the set that you may try to collect. Money cards are used as payment, and house/hotel cards can increase the value of property sets. At the end of the game, your goal is to be the first to have a set of 3 cards. Contains three players with different attributes in different colors. Then declare your attribute on the last turn to end the game. The player with the most points from their cards wins the game.
2.Taco Vs Burrito
You will find the night filled with chaos and laughter. Because this ridiculously silly game for 2 to 4 players inspires imagination and strategic thinking.
How to play
To play, draw a card on your turn. Then add an ingredient to your taco or burrito. Or add a stomachache to reduce the value. Or add a hot sauce boss to increase the value. Each player starts with seven cards in hand. You can also play action cards. But be careful with Health Inspector or Order Envy cards. They may ruin your meal. The game proceeds clockwise. Players draw and play more cards until the deck runs out. But once a player plays a card, the game ends immediately. The player with the highest score wins the game.
3.Skip-Bo
A classic popular card board games that is still very popular today is the easy-to-play Skip-Bo. Employ strategy and critical thinking to win the game.
How to play
From the beginning, each player is dealt 30 board game cards. Four shared building piles are placed on the table, and players must build on these piles. Start from 1 to 12. So keep your eyes sharp and your brain evaluating. Otherwise someone will beat you to the punch and win! In each round, players draw cards from their inventory. Until they have 5 cards in hand. Then play a card from their hand, a top card from the discard pile, or a card from their inventory. At the end of the round, the player must discard one of the existing discard piles. The player’s goal is to create a sequence of cards of the same rank to win the game. Avoid the number cards that the next player needs. To prevent them from emptying their hand, and know when to play the Skip-Bo card that may appear in front of you. The first player to empty their inventory wins the game.
